Double aircraft set.
One of the most enduring incidents of WWII chivalry occurred when Franz Stigler was sent to shoot down a crippled B-17 which was limping home with severe damage, following a raid on the Focke Wulf factory at Bremen. Stigler escorted the B-17 to the coast, in his Messerschmitt, before saluting the captain and returning to base. The men had an emotional reunion many years later!
